Wow, so here we are with the first ever piece of gaming news from Go Game Smart. I know this is hardly exclusive news but I thought it was exciting enough to comment on.
It looks as if much to my personal surprise the Xbox 1 may actually outsell the PS4. To be honest I was really expecting a bit of a white wash in the other direction but hardcore Microsoft fans have obviously come through for their preferred platform. Of course the report also stated that this would only be true if Microsoft decided to unbundle the kinect and therefore lower sales prices back to a rough parity. Another amazing aspect of the same report was that it would seem, and not surprisingly, that digital sales of games are still well and truly on the rise with an estimate stating that by as early as 2019 fully a half of all games sales could be done through digital payment and download.
